Senior Explorers provides an array of opportunities for campers to participate in games and learn new skills while becoming self-directed and productive members of the group. Each week has two different themes.

WEEK 1
June 12 – 16
American Road Trip
What lies out in the big cities and small towns of America? From famous monuments to little known landmarks, we’ll explore some of the places that make this America special!
Hello Mona Lisa
Say hello to portraiture. In this exploration of the world’s most famous smile, students create their own Davinci stylized “selfies” using paints, photos and collage.
WEEK 2
* June 20 – June 23 (four day week)
Cartooning and Drawing
Create a character and fill its world with vivid scenery, exciting activities, and a wacky supporting cast. Anyone with a pencil, paper and imagination can be a cartoonist.
Lawn Games
Play and build games to play outdoors. Oversized Scrabble or Twister: if you can build it, we can play it.
WEEK 3
June 26 – June 30
Cranium Craze
This week we will be challenging in the best way with puzzles, games and out-of-the-box thinking.
Escape the Day
Use your problem-solving skills like nothing else. Create an escape room (or two) and compete to see who’s the slyest of them all.

Mission Impossible
There is a secret double agent amongst us! Come join us and we’ll combine our best STEM skills to capture the double agent before it’s too late!
Fashion Illustration
Explore how to draw details of clothing and accessories. Let’s research current styles in the fashion industry and create our own designs as we look into the fashion future!
WEEK 5

Survivor
Split your group into tribes and let each tribe compete during a Survivor-like competition. Obstacle courses, puzzles and team-building exercises.
Enchanted Forest
Spend a tree-mendous time exploring the wee folk of the forest. Use bark, twigs, clay and other elements of nature to design a fairy garden, hobbit habitat or gnome home.

Game On
Come live out all your favorite board games, video games, and more in life size fun. This fantastic week will teach you new and classic games alike.
Claymation
Make your art come to life! Be the director, art designer and writer of a claymation short film.
WEEK 7

By The Numbers
Math is a lot more fun when you get to learn it during the summer.
Nature Camp
Head out on a hike to create art with items found in nature, use these in amazing ways to create a summer memory.

Spend time creating personal mandala art.
Beat the Heat
Make a splash! Beat the heat with water games galore.

Summer Scientists
Conduct experiments, bust myths, and test theories.

For our grand finale week, students decide the activities! We’ll take the most popular themed days, games and activities and relive them one last time this summer.
