Young Adventurers

Young Adventurers allows children to explore a variety of activities centered on many different themes. Children are exposed to everything from cooking to science to construction and crafts through a number of hands on activities. This program is a great way to introduce your child to a fun and engaging summer program and school environment. For the summer of 2021 we are offering a 5 day half and full day option for children entering Preschool and PreKindergarten.

DAILY SCHEDULE

8:00 – 9:00 Drop off.
9:30 – 12:00 Theme-based activities, snack, outdoor play.
12:00 Pick up for half day campers.
12:00 – 1:00 Lunch for full day campers.
1:00 – 3:45 Quiet time, afternoon theme-based activities, outdoor play.
4:00 Dismissal.

Session 1
June 14 – 18
Storytime Garden
Let’s dig into garden themed stories to see what makes a garden grow!

June 21 – 25
Into the Deep
Enjoy the wonders of the beach and the ocean. Create sand sculptures, discover shells, fish and other cool ocean creatures.

Session 2
June 28 – July 2
Suess and Friends
Come meet the unique characters from Dr. Suess. Our favorite Dr. Suess folks will leap from the pages of his books with crafts, songs and games.

July 6 – 9 (4-day week)*
Lions, Tigers and Bears
Come have a wild adventure as we venture into the jungle in search of some wild animals.

Session 3
July 12 – 16

Super Heroes in Training 
We will fight crimes big and small to make the community a better place. We’ll begin by taking a look at our everyday heroes like firefighters, paramedics and police.

July 19 – 23
Land Before Time
Are you ready to travel back in time to learn more about our prehistoric friends? We are going to study dinosaurs, make awesome dino-themed crafts and play games.

It’s a Bug’s Life
Itty-bitty, creepy crawly, incredible, powerful BUGS! Let’s learn what it’s like to live the bug’s life!ig for dinosaur bones, play dinosaur games, make dinosaur crafts and go back to the land before time.

August 2 – 6
Carle Classics
With Eric Carle’s classic and colorful artwork and sweet text that rhymes, this book is a perfect addition to every Eric Carle collection.

Session 5
August 9 – 13

Down by the Pond
Grab your binoculars, fishnets and water shoes as we transform our camp into a pond through games, crafts and activities.

August 16 – 20
Farewell to Summer
Summer may be coming to an end, but that doesn’t mean our fun is. Come join us as we celebrate all things summer, from sleeping in tents, stories around a campfire, water activities, and enjoying friends made at camp.

Little Learner Series

Join us virtually for one of our Little Learners Series on the first Thursday of every month. This series is for parents and children ages 2 – 5. There will be stories, songs, and a variety of fun, educational activities. Invite a friend or neighbor. The Little Learners Series is free.
