A Program of Schools for Children

SEED

What is SEED?

SEED partners with communities, organizations, and institutions in bringing people together to learn through self reflection, build relationships through structured dialogue, and create change through systemic analysis.

SEED leaders are community organizers, educators, and social service providers. They can be found facilitating conversations in classrooms, local libraries, multi-site organizations, online, and beyond with the common goal of working toward social justice and a commitment to wholeness, wellness, and just relationship with others.

SEED at Lesley Ellis

SEED’s mission is in close alignment with the educational philosophy at Lesley Ellis. Although the SEED program is for the adults in our community it reflects the experience that Lesley Ellis students have each day in their classrooms. Collaboration, reflection, and inquiry are foundational to the Lesley Ellis approach to education.
