In the wake of the pandemic, Julie Andrews might well have changed the words to her iconic song to “The school(s) are alive with the sound of music.” Once again, the hallways and auditorium at Lesley Ellis are filled with the sweet sounds of music. Actual live, music. After two years of virtual…..everything, kids actually playing instruments and performing on stage! Over three nights this week middle schoolers are sharing their music prowess with family and friends. Last night fifth graders took the stage. Tonight it’s the sixth grade’s turn and on Thursday grades 7 and 8 wrap up the week’s performances.
