Each day Trailblazers are immersed in an in-depth study of a wide range of popular summer themes. During each session Trailblazers grow in their ability to create and problem solve.

Weekly Themes

June 14 – 18
Through the Museum Looking Glass
Students are inspired to reinvent masterpieces by Van Gogh, Michelangelo, Cezanne and others using alternative methods and materials.

June 21 – 25
All Ball
There’s more to this week than just kickball and four square games. What is it about a ball that just makes the ordinary seem fun? Let’s take a brain break and run around.

June 28 – July 2
Extraordinary Science
With Thomas Edison’s well-worn adage that “genius is 1 percent inspiration and 99 percent perspiration” you will be put to the test when we explore all the science around us.

July 6 – 9 (4 day week)*
Beat the Heat
Summer is the perfect time to cool off by playing with water. We don’t need a pool to get wet. With our cool ideas of games to play and things to build we will have a blast!

August 9 – 13

The Great Escape
We will use a little brainpower and a lot of teamwork as we solve the puzzles and unlock secrets. Challenge yourself and have an awesome adventure!

August 16 – 20
Glamping (Camping at Summer Program)
Through games and activities we will learn to set up camp, play camp games, conquer the summit on a hike while learning map reading skills, leave no trace principles and trail etiquette.


Little Learner Series

Join us virtually for one of our Little Learners Series on the first Thursday of every month. This series is for parents and children ages 2 – 5. There will be stories, songs, and a variety of fun, educational activities. Invite a friend or neighbor. The Little Learners Series is free.
