Each day Trailblazers are immersed in an in-depth study of a wide range of popular summer themes. We are planning our typical fun summer program for Trailblazers this year. Of course, there is always a possibility that we may have to adjust these plans due to COVID-19. No matter what COVID does, we will still have tons of summer fun!
June 13 – 17
A Day at the Museum
Students will be inspired to reinvent art through field trips to sculpture parks, botanical gardens and public art exhibits using alternative methods and materials.
*June 21 – June 24 (four day week)
Kayaking, swimming, fishing, and just sitting by the shoreline are all part of this week of aquatic fun. Join us as we take daily trips to local watering holes to keep cool in the summer sun.
June 27 – July 1
There’s more to this week than just kick-ball and four-square games. We will venture out each day to see local stadiums, hit balls at the batting cages and many more ball related activities.
July 25 – 29
Come get excited about science when we explore all the science around us. From visiting museums and other various science awesomeness we will find on our way around Boston. This is an opportunity to build connections with kids and experience learning together.
August 1 – 5
In the Woods
Let’s head outdoors and begin an appreciation for our environment. We will spend time learning about the ecology of the surrounding woods, learn about preservation efforts, and see what kinds of personal and physical challenges can be found in the woods.
August 8 – 12
The Great Escape
We will use a little brainpower and a lot of teamwork as we solve the puzzles and unlock secrets. Challenge yourself and have an awesome adventure when we travel around town and to parts unknown!
