Calling all readers, bookworms, and bibliophiles! Get ready for an upcoming Cabin Fever event that will keep your library freshly stocked for the coming winter months. Mystery Book Swap! What’s that? You’ve never been part of a swap before? It’s easy. Simply find a new or gently used book that you love, wrap it in plain paper, and be ready to write some mysterious clues about why you love the secret book inside. Then get ready to swap! The number of books you donate is the number of books you take home to enjoy.
Every student, teacher, and family in the Lesley Ellis community is invited to create a project at home that expresses the themes of our essential anti-bias work here at Lesley Ellis. Write a song! Make a painting! Create a collage!
Use your imagination and bring your completed project to school on Wednesday, February 9 so we’ll have plenty of time to set up our Open House on Saturday, February 12. Instructions and title cards will be sent home. We look forward to seeing all of the creativity that the Lesley Ellis community comes up with!
