Registration for Summer Camp 2026 is open. We can’t wait to see you!
Lesley Ellis Summer Camp provides new experiences, helps your child stay in touch with friends, make new friends and participate in fun and unique programming. We can’t wait for you to meet our incredible staff dedicated to providing a stimulating and fun summer camp for your children. We have developed a camp that is both fun and educational; one that is age appropriate, allows children to think from new perspectives, and exposes them to new activities and adventures!
The camp is staffed by an administrative team composed of LES staff, camp nurse, activity specialists, senior counselors, junior counselors, and CIT’s. Each team member is invested in working together to provide a fun and safe camp experience for all of our campers.

We offer 1-week sessions giving you added flexibility when making your summer plans. -
Summer camp runs from June 15, 2026, through August 14, 2026. The Lesley Ellis Summer Camp is designed around popular themes. Each one-week session is led by experienced early childhood, elementary, and middle school educators from Lesley Ellis, along with like-minded college students and other educational professionals. Throughout the summer children are immersed in hands-on explorations and experiences.

Young Adventurers (for campers entering Preschool and PreKindergarten)
Young Adventurers (for children entering Preschool and PreKindergarten) allows children to explore a variety of activities centered on many different themes. Children are exposed to everything from cooking to science to construction and crafts through a number of hands-on activities. This program is a great way to introduce your child to a fun and engaging summer program and school environment. We are offering a 5-day half and full day option for our Young Advernturers.

This first week of camp is all about celebrating the joys of summertime! Campers will dive into the season with fun, age-appropriate activities designed to spark curiosity and creativity. Each day, children will enjoy classic summer experiences—making sunny art projects, exploring water play, listening to stories about nature and warm weather, and singing songs that celebrate the season. Outdoor time will include games, picnics, and plenty of chances to soak up the sunshine in a safe, playful environment. By the end of the week, campers will feel right at home in the rhythms of camp life, excited for the adventures that lie ahead all summer long!

This week, our youngest campers will dig into the wonders of nature with a garden-inspired adventure! Children will explore the sights, sounds, and colors of summertime gardens through hands-on activities, stories, and play. Songs, games, and circle time conversations will help them learn about how plants grow and why gardens are special. Each day offers a new celebration, tailored to be fun and accessible for young learners, while also nurturing curiosity and appreciation for different cultures. With plenty of time outdoors, this week is filled with joyful moments, bright colors, and the spirit of celebration!

Together, we’ll explore how colors appear in nature, in stories, and in the world around us. With plenty of outdoor play and camp traditions woven throughout the week, our youngest campers will discover what it means to be part of the camp community. Camp Spirit Week is all about having fun, trying new things, and celebrating the magic of summertime together!

Pack your bags and come along as campers go on a safari adventure—right here at camp! Together we’ll explore the wonders of the animal world through stories, crafts, games, and imaginative play. Campers might create animal masks, stomp like elephants, or pretend to spot lions, zebras, and giraffes on a “camp safari.” Nature walks and outdoor play will give children the chance to use their eyes and ears like real explorers, discovering the world around them. With plenty of songs, movement, and creativity, this week is filled with curiosity, adventure, and lots of wild fun!

Pathfinders (for campers entering grades 1 and 2)
Pathfinders (for campers entering grades 1 – 2) engage in activities designed to allow children to explore, grow, and play. Campers will have daily programming created by our Specialist team as well as time to enjoy plenty of outdoor time and swimming at the Beede Center in Concord. This group will enjoy all day Friday field trips to destinations around Boston such as the Science Museum, Aquarium, blueberry picking, and the Franklin Park Zoo.

By the end of the week, campers will have a passport full of new favorite games to share!

By the end of the week, they’ll have a collection of unique artworks and a greater confidence in their own artistic abilities—celebrating the artist within each of them!

Field Trip: Boston Harbor Island
Pioneers (for campers entering grades 5 and 6)
Join the Pioneers (for campers entering grades 5 – 6) as they embark on daily adventures. Each week will include trips in and around the Boston area, exploring different museums, hiking, water adventures and other fun activities. These trips are all within an hour of Arlington and all admission fees are included in the tuition. This group does not have overnights.

Trailblazers (campers entering grades 7 and 8)
Join our Trailblazers (campers entering grades 7 and 8) as they embark on both daily trips and overnight trips. All weeks will feature daily field trips to a variety of destinations in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, and Maine. During weeks 2 (June 17 – 21) and Week 8 (July 29 – August 2) this group will have an overnight camping trip on Thursday night. All admission fees are included in tuition.
Please note: All trips leave Lesley Ellis School at 9:00 a.m. and return at 3:00 p.m.

Enrichment Camps
Our Enrichment and Sports Camps join forces with our regular camp sessions to create the ultimate summer experience! These camps are like the magical ingredients that turn an ordinary summer into an extraordinary one. At Lesley Ellis, our enrichment camps bring hands-on adventures that turn growing, exploring, and finding new passions into the coolest summer agenda. From science experiments that sizzle to arts and crafts that spark creativity, our camps are safe and the perfect blend of interactive and fun. And for the sports enthusiasts, our sports camps turn the field into a playground of skill-building and teamwork. We believe in turning every moment into a memory and every lesson into a laugh, whether you’re crafting masterpieces or kicking goals. SPARKS LEMONADE STAND
In partnership with SPARK Business Academy, campers will learn how to make sweet, tangy lemonade—and turn it into a thriving business! Each morning, they’ll experiment with recipes, design flyers, practice making change, and track their profits. The week culminates in a showcase event where campers launch their own lemonade stand and donate their earnings to a charity of their choice. In the afternoons, they’ll join the day camp for art, STEM, and PE activities, along with daily swimming at the Beede Center.

CHESS WIZARDS
Chess Wizards has been teaching the game of chess since 2002. Join us this summer for tons of challenging chess lessons, exciting games, and cool prizes. You’ll improve your chess skills, meet new friends, and work out your most powerful muscle – your brain! Our camps include fun team chess games (like Corner Chess), recess time (of course), snacks, tournaments, and puzzles. Each camper receives a T-shirt, trophy, and puzzle folder. We include all the materials necessary for your child to participate, but full-day kids should bring lunch. Unleash your brain power and spend part of your summer with Chess Wizards!

ART AND HIKING CAMP
This summer, Lesley Ellis Summer Camp is thrilled to partner with Guinea Fowl Adventures to offer an unforgettable, nature-based art experience for young explorers! Together, we’ll guide the next generation of creative adventurers and responsible hikers through immersive, experience-based day trips across northeastern Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire. Each day, campers will travel to a new and inspiring landscape to learn about the environment and create art inspired by their natural surroundings. Through exploration, creativity, and reflection, campers will discover meaningful connections—to nature, to one another, and to themselves. This unique collaboration combines the adventurous spirit of Guinea Fowl Adventures with the joyful, community-centered approach of Lesley Ellis Summer Camp, offering a transformative week of discovery, creativity, and wonder in the great outdoors.

OVER NIGHT HIKING CAMP
In this exciting new partnership with Guinea Fowl Adventures, campers will learn the fundamentals of overnight backpacking and wilderness exploration. Guided by experienced outdoor educators, they’ll start the week with a series of local day hikes to build skills and confidence, then finish with an unforgettable overnight camping trip. Along the way, campers will gain hands-on experience in trip planning, packing a backpack, setting up a campsite, camp cooking, route navigation, and emergency preparedness. Depending on group interest and ability, adventures may include summiting a mountain, exploring waterfalls, swimming in rivers or lakes, or spending time at base camp mastering outdoor skills. All equipment is provided, making this the perfect opportunity for young adventurers to experience the wilderness safely and confidently. This program combines the adventurous spirit of Guinea Fowl Adventures with the supportive, creative environment of Lesley Ellis Summer Camp, empowering campers to build independence, teamwork, and a lifelong love of the outdoors.

MODEL UN CAMP
Middle school students will step into the world of global diplomacy during our Model UN Summer Camp, where they’ll take on the roles of international delegates, debate real-world issues, and negotiate solutions to complex global challenges. Throughout the week, campers will research their assigned countries, craft persuasive speeches, practice public speaking, and develop critical thinking and collaboration skills. With engaging simulations, interactive workshops, and fun team-building activities, students will gain a deeper understanding of international relations while building confidence, communication skills, and lasting friendships. By the end of the week, campers will experience the excitement of a full Model UN conference, putting their new skills into action in a realistic, fast-paced, and supportive environment.

MUSIC THEATER CAMP
Get ready to step into the swamp! During our three-week Music Theater Camp, campers will bring the beloved story of Shrek Jr. to life through singing, dancing, and acting. From auditions and character development to set design and costume creation, students will experience the full magic of putting on a musical production. Under the guidance of experienced theater educators, campers will build confidence, teamwork, and stage presence—all while having a blast rehearsing for their big performance at the end of camp. It’s a fairytale adventure full of laughter, friendship, and unforgettable moments both on and off stage!

GLOBAL CITIZEN CAMP
Join us for Global Citizens, a dynamic summer program for middle schoolers where students explore identity, culture, and community while learning how to make a real impact! From 9:00–12:00, campers engage in hands-on projects, discussions, and local service experiences, culminating in a week of student-designed community service initiatives. In the afternoons, 12:00–3:00, the fun continues with swimming, sports, arts, and opportunities to make new friends. Through reflection, collaboration, and action, campers build leadership skills, empathy, and a deeper understanding of what it means to be an active and compassionate member of their local and global communities.
