Annual Giving is a shared community effort. Current families, alumni families, grandparents, and friends of the school come together each year to support the programs that matter most. All gifts help bridge the gap between tuition and the true cost of delivering an exceptional LES experience. Capital Giving

Capital gifts help Lesley Ellis create the learning spaces our students need to grow, explore, and thrive. These investments strengthen the school’s long-term future and make possible the major facility improvements that enhance teaching, learning, and community life.

Our most recent capital campaign made the new Deanne Benson Library a reality, a vibrant hub of reading, curiosity, and connection. The campaign also supports the continued development of our Performing Arts Center, an exciting project that will expand opportunities in music, theater, and creative expression for every LES student. Tuition assistance

Tuition Assistance ensures that an LES education remains accessible to families across a wide range of economic backgrounds. Each year, approximately 25% of students receive support. Your gift helps open doors and widen access. Cash Gifts

Most gifts to Lesley Ellis are made in the form of cash contributions. Checks should be made payable to Lesley Ellis School and sent directly to the Development Office. If you have questions or to learn more, contact Jenn Champagne, Development Manager, P ’28, ’31.

Credit Cards

Lesley Ellis also accepts gifts and pledge payments on American Express, Visa and MasterCard. Credit card gifts and pledge payments may be made online. If you have questions or to learn more, contact Jenn Champagne, Development Manager, P ’28, ’31.

Gifts of Securities

A gift of securities is a good way to save on capital gains. Your broker can transfer stock to Lesley Ellis and you will receive a tax deduction for the mean value of the stock on the date it is given. If you plan to make a gift of securities, please email Head of School, Rhiannon McElwee.

Pledges

Written and signed pledges are accepted for any Annual Fund contribution. All Annual Fund pledges are payable by June 30. Reminders are sent from the Development Office. If you have questions or to learn more, contact Jenn Champagne, Development Manager, P ’28, ’31.

Matching Gifts

A large number of companies will match or multiply donations from their employees. You should contact your employer’s human resources department to determine whether your company offers a matching gift program and to request the necessary forms. After filling out a matching gift form, donors should send them to the Development Office along with their gift or pledge payment.
