Dear Lesley Ellis Community and Friends,

From my very first visit to Lesley Ellis, I felt something extraordinary. The warmth, curiosity, and authenticity of this community were unmistakable, from the bright eyes of students eager to share their ideas, to the faculty and staff who clearly love what they do, to the families who radiate a deep sense of connection and pride. I knew right away that this was a place I would be honored to lead.

Lesley Ellis “walks the walk.” Our mission—where every child is seen, known, and inspired—comes to life every day in classrooms, hallways, playgrounds, and performances. Students are challenged and supported in equal measure. They ask big questions, grapple with complexity, and grow into thoughtful, confident learners who care deeply about the world around them. That combination of intellectual rigor, creativity, and compassion is what makes Lesley Ellis so special.

As I begin my tenure as Head of School, I am filled with gratitude for the strong foundation built by my predecessor, Deanne Benson, and by the talented faculty, staff, and families who make this community thrive. Enrollment is strong, students are flourishing, and the energy on campus is palpable. Together, we’ll continue to nurture that spirit while exploring new ways to strengthen our programs and deepen our shared values.

My goal is to build on the excellence that already defines Lesley Ellis, ensuring that our students continue to experience the joy of discovery, the power of belonging, and the inspiration to make a difference.

On a personal note, my husband, daughter, and I are thrilled to join the Lesley Ellis family and we all thank you for such an accepting and inclusive welcome.
