Jenn Young began teaching at Lesley Ellis in 1998 as a Grade 1 teacher. She helped to grow the elementary program as it expanded, teaching Grades 1-5 as well as serving as an elementary specialist and librarian before moving into the role of Elementary Director. She has a BA from Tufts University where she majored in Child Study, and a Master of Education with a specialization in Conflict Resolution & Peaceable Schools from Lesley University.

Jenn truly enjoys working with teachers where she helps develop systems for reflective practice and deep understanding of students. She also loves her time with children teaching reading and math. Schoolwide, she coleads the Seed (Seeking Educational Equity and Diversity) program for groups of LES parents and faculty/staff members.
